DODMERB Appt

It's been a couple of years since my older kids did the ROTC apps. I forget how the DODMERB appointment works. Does ROTC contact the applicant to set up an appointment once the submission is complete or does the applicant go ahead and make the appointment? Thanks.

They will get a notice as to where to make an appointment. From that point they have 45 days to make the appointment and enter the date in the portal.

Thanks. I'm guessing that notice is an email. He recevied the email that his app was complete and submitted and that someone would be contacting him about an interview, but no info on DODMERB.

I feel like I remember NROTC applicants not having to complete dodmerb physical until after receiving a scholarship. I could be wrong though because I had already completed the physical for my academy application.
