I had Kawasaki Disease when I was 18 months old, and it was caught instantly, and was gone since then. I was medically disqualified due to this, and now am awaiting response from USNA saying whether or not I am a competitive applicant. does anyone know what the ruling is when it comes to something that I had as a baby, but is still somehow hindering me disqualified?

I merged both threads into one. No need to post in multiple forums.

I don't know what medical records you have already submitted to Dodmerb but I would think that documentation from peds saying that there were no complications would be helpful. It can lead to heart disease so if you were my kid, I would have something in writing about no cardiac complications, etc.

I had sent something to them detailing what doctors from yale said from this summer saying i am in perfect health, I sent it to dodmerb they reviewed it, and then it went back to under review
