No, that process can go on for a while, especially if there is AMI (additional medical info) requested, waivers involved, etc. Don’t procrastinate once you are green lighted to schedule your appointments. Submit everything you are initially required to submit by any stated deadline.

The general rule of thumb is you want to get everything you have direct control over into wherever it is due a comfortable window before the deadline.
