Hey Guys,
I just won a 4 year AROTC scholarship and filled out my DodMERB survey and went to both exams. I had eczema when I was younger and mentioned that on the self reported survey. However, my dermatologist cleared me of eczema back in october/november of 2019. I mentioned this as well on the survey. When I went to the med exam, I told the doctor all about it and brought the record of my dermatologist clearing me. Based off of this, I have a few questions:

I most likely will get DQ for it, but is getting a waiver for something like this possible?

In addition to ROTC, I was considering enlisting. When I spoke to the army recruiter after filling out the DodMERB survey, he said that since the eczema was cleared by a doctor, I didnt have to mention it when enlisting. If I dont get a waiver for ROTC and decide to enlist, since my recruiter said I didnt have to mention the history, will they look at the DodMERB and see that I listed it there for ROTC and not allow me to enlist?

Thank you guys for your help!

1. The construct of your question would require total speculation and conjecture, based on self-reported public disclosure that may or may not be accurate...having zero to do with your veracity or not.
2. That’s a professional answer to say, we’ll know in a few weeks - you and I 😁
3. It’s similar to I just took the physics test. My professor says I’ve been a good student. What do you think my score will be?
4. Not minimizing your question and anxiousness in the least, send me an email to = DoDMERB_saforums@yahoo.com.
State “Spatti33 - your complete name and last 4 - eczema “. I will answer tonight.

5. Your Recruiter was flat out wrong and would subject you to fraudulent enlistment and the same for any SA/ROTC programs you apply to.

I have replied to Spatti33's email tonight
