I'm a junior interested in applying to USMA. Today I visited the ophthalmologist and found that I had astigmatism to .75 degrees in my left eye and .50 in the right. (I'm not sure what units that's in; would it be diopters?) The contacts that I wear are -3.50 and -4.00 (unit?). I'm extremely worried right now. What are the vision requirements for West Point and how would I fare? Thanks.

You'll be fine. DQ is -8.00 myopia (for USMA and USAFA) and -1.5 astigmatism
