DS had a USAFA waiver approved in February 2018. Didn't receive an appt so will be joining the AFROTC unit at his first choice school. I know the DODMERB results are good for 2 years. What I don't know is when the clock starts. Waiver approval date? Medical exam date?
If he is selected for a scholarship in the 2019-2020 year than his exam should be good (although he will need another waiver). If he doesn't receive a scholarship his sophomore year than I am guessing that he will need to start the process over again if he contracts prior to his junior year (summer 2020).
