DoDMERB also is charged with scheduling the exams/rendering medical qualification decisions for ALL ROTC programs too: Army, Navy (and Marine Corps Option within NROTC), and Air Force ROTC.
Many applicants apply to a few Service Academies; a few ROTC programs; and a few straight civilian schools, to broaden their opportunities (chances for selection of admission). It's better to apply to many programs and ideally get accepted to them all. Then, the difficult decision is which one to select....as opposed to applying just to one and get disappointed if not selected.
