My DD has been a champ through the process of this application but DODMERB and DODMETs have not been fun... actually aside from making tea and sitting on her bed for moral support it has been long and hard for everyone. She has been told that her application is in the waiver review process for several different medical issues including a car accident from September and an "allergy" that has never caused anaphylaxis. She turned in a lot of paperwork. As a nonmilitary parent... with a first generation DD I have been the pragmatist and let her know 1 in 116 are not good odds. Her Blue and Gold Officer has told her not to worry it could still happen. My friend who was in the USNA class of 84 or 86 has told her you have done all you can... do not worry. But this Momma just wants to know could it really go from Waiver process to waiver ok in 14 days, or should I plan for disappointment. She just wants a career where she could be called a spook some day.

APPLICANT DAUGHTER: If you’d like, you may send me an email: lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide complete name and last 4 SSN; provide the text of your Parent's posting above to YOUR email. The subject line of the email should be “kebDDVolunteeredMe

Focus and execute Plan B. Send security deposit. If USNA comes through, then request a refund.

Our DD is in a waiver situation as well with both USMA and USAFA and waiting for clearance from DODMERB yet we also know the timeline is pretty tight right now. She has a plan B but isn't really excited about it right now. Best wishes to your daughter!

I was looking for help regarding my DODMETS heath survey. I have accidentally selected yes on the survey question 162c "Have you ever been refused employment or been unable to hold a job or stay in school because of inability to stand, sit, kneel, lie down, etc.?". The question was then locked and I cannot fix my answer. If you could help me fix this mistake, or give me the contact information of whom I need to contact, I would greatly appreciate it.
