DODMERB needed for Field TRAINING? (AFROTC)

Has anybody ever been sent to Field Training (or LEAD training in the past) without having been DODMERB qualified?
 
Others can chime in with more knowledge than me ... AFROTC is not my expertise ... but I thought you had to be on contract to go to Field Training, and I thought you had to get through DoDMERB to be on contract ...
 
So typically if you’re not already on contract, you’d contract as soon as you return from field training (beginning of AS 300 year). Normally non-contracted cadets would start the DoDMERB well in advance so they are green by the time that happens. I’m really not sure if you need to be DoDMERB cleared for field training. That would be something to take up with your cadre, but you do need to be cleared to contract once you get back.
