Would appreciate guidance as our DS received NROTC scholarship today and we are facing the same obstacles as when he applied to the Naval Academy. We provided medical document after medical document to DODMERB for them to come back with two Disqualification and needed a medical waiver. Which was never pursued, he plans on reapplying to Annapolis next year. Today we see the NROTC DODMERB says awaiting remedial. This is beyond upsetting as we just went through this from Jan-April. If a waiver is needed for NROTC does the unit provide it prior to fall semester. How does his medical affect his current scholarship?
