DoDMERB Optometrist-Medication

Hello,

I just took my DoDMERB test today and for the eye doctor, I disclosed that I use Restasis, a medicine for the eye to help you produce more tears. Can that disqualify me from getting an appointment to the academies, and if not, will I need a waiver?

I've actually never seen a decision one way or the other on Restasis before.

As I'm sure you know, but others probably don't, Restasis is a medication that is used for dry eyes. Usually it is considered to be one of the stronger medications for this condition.

My guess is that they will likely require some further information due to your use of this.
