Hello,

I had just received/accepted my NROTC scholarship a couple of days ago and I had a few questions.

I was going through the NSI packing list and I saw that I needed a "DoDMERB physical qualification letter". Is this the same as the medically qualified letter that I have on my DoDMERB account, or is it completely different?

This raised another question of mine. On most of the documents, it says I need a DODMETS "physical". Is this different than the medical exams that I already qualified for? I am assuming it is a different medical process but please correct me if I am wrong.

I was a little overwhelmed with all the new information and I do not want to miss any important deadlines. I would appreciate any help/advice on what to do next.

Thank you so much

My understanding is that the "DoDMERB Physical Qualification Letter" is the PDF you can download from your DoDMERB Portal.

Keep in mind, not everyone who applies and accepts an NROTC Scholarship also went through the Service Academy Application, so for a number of people who accept an NROTC Scholarship, they are just beginning the DoDMERB Process and have not done the DODMETs Physical Exam that you already went through to get DoDMERB Qualified.
