Good morning all, looking for some guidance on how to advise DS. DS will be an MSII when the fall semester starts. Prior to the end of the last academic year he was told by the cadre that he will be sitting in a contracting board in the fall semester and that he should get all his DODMERB stuff in order this summer in advance of the board. He's reached out a couple of times to the ROO at his school but the ROO has been non-responsive. The cadre at this school is turning over and I suspect that this may be the reason the ROO hasn't replied to any messages at this time. DS takes ROTC and the chain of command very seriously and doesn't want to reach out to any other cadre in fear of getting in the dog house with the ROO. Any advice you can provide to me on how to navigate this situation would be most appreciated as DS really wants to get all his DODMERB documentation/medical exams etc. in order before he returns to school at the end of next month.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

My guess is that the new cadre will be in place in a few weeks. Sit tight. “Hurry up and wait” is standard in the military.

Hmmm - a DoDMERB question on the ROTC tab vs DoDMERB? No problem...I found it

MOM/DAD: Google "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the process;" Read paragraph #4.

DS : Send me an email: lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil (***ensure you type the email just as it looks. No extra “e” anywhere***Lawrence E. Mullen); provide complete name and last 4 SSN; provide the text of your Parent's posting above to YOUR email. The subject line of the email should be “Ramtough - SAF =
DODMERB Question/Advice needed .“ Do NOT embed links in your email as I will not be able to view those. I stand at the ready to assist him:wiggle:
