I am in the process of applying again to the academies; completed DoDMERB last year and I was asked to complete the Present health Questionnaire. I was disqualified last year due to ACL tear that has since been repaired and I have fully recovered. Just received word that I will be disqualified again because it has not been 12 months since my surgery. I probably should have waited to submit the form as my 12 months will be in late September. My question is can I resubmit the health questionnaire and be reviewed again after the 12 months has lapsed or must I go through the waiver process as the letter says? By the time I will go through waiver process, I will be well past the 12 months; if I had waited to submit the questionnaire, I would have been past 12 months. I have full documentation of clearance from my doctor post rehabilitations with no restrictions.
