"DoDMERB Receipt of Exam" Update after AMI Submission

I emailed DoDMERB twice regarding the requested AMI records I sent in mid-August and have gotten no response from them, so I'm turning here. I got a single disqualification for a rather common condition and was requested to submit an AMI for a waiver. I submitted these back in August and it was radio silence. I emailed once in September if they could confirm if they have received my records. No response, but later that week, I noticed a "DoDMERB Receipt of Exam" update on my portal. I emailed again, asking what this meant because this is the same worded update that appeared after they received my initial medical screening. No response.

Does anyone know if this note means they have received my AMI? My current status has been "Under Waiver Review" since July. I just want to make sure my AMIs are sent to the Waiver Authority so they can start reviewing! It's been months since I've started the DodMERB process, and I don't mind waiting longer, but I'm getting a bit frustrated with the zero communication. I just don't want to end up having wasted time waiting because they think they didn't receive anything on their end.

It took DS 2 months to get his Appointment/acceptance into the USAFA after sending in AMI.
If they asked for it, they are interested in you. Hang in there, we know it is tough.

Have you tried calling and if you get a live person, asking them to quickly check your file?

The DoDMERB process can go into the late spring, or even later, for some. It does not have to be complete by the candidate application deadline. This part of the entire application process can feel shockingly drawn out to applicants. There are mountains of data flowing to DoDMERB from thousands of candidates for 5 service academies, as well as other pre-comm programs they service. Each case is reviewed on its own merits. You don’t want to rush that.

Are you also trying AFROTC? They gave my kid the waiver fast and USAFA just took a week to do the same.
