DodMERB scheduling

I recently got an email allowing me access to schedule my appointments. When I got to the scheduling part of the process, the receptionist told me that I needed to complete the optometry test first. I've scheduled the optometry test now, but the exam isn't until end of july. Does this mean I must wait until I've completed my optometry exam to schedule my DODMERB? Is this how it's supposed to be?
 
they told my son that in 2017 but we were able to get them relatively close together
 
what all did you have complete before DODMERB opened? Just curios because I have everything but candidate statements and cfa turned in and checked off.

All transcripts, SAT scores etc etc except CFA and candidate statement.
 
FACT: It is the process to complete the Opto first, but if you can schedule the medical before then, pls do so :wiggle:
 
How did you get to this step? My portal says SCHEDULER FORWARDED TO DODMERB, however, I can't log in yet and I have not received an email. What did your portal say and how did you log in to the dodmets website?
