My son won 4 year ROTC scholarship and all we are waiting on it the approval of the medical. He has completed the medical portion waiting for the qualified or determination if he needs a waiver. What do we do? He has had 2 schools offer full room board on top of the ROTC scholarship. Any ideas on what to do? Any ideas when the site will be up and running. Thank you

Sadly, only choice is to wait patiently like the rest of us! My daughter is sitting on an LOA and she's chomping at the bit to know her Dodmerb status! Like others have posted, they're working diligently to fix the system and in the meantime are apparently have a manual contingency plan they're working through. Good luck and congratulations to your son on the ROTC scholarship!!

Unfortunately we have to be patient - it’s hard! They are somehow working through it as we know of two 3/Cs who have been DODMERB cleared in the last 2 weeks. Unfortunately, one of them wasn’t my son but I’m very happy for his friends! Though they have been awarded the scholarship as programmers, no $ is provided until everything is complete. So we wait… We told our son it will work out & that we promise we won’t let him go hungry or homeless 😉 (he has a tuition waiver)….

Without Mr. Mullen here to assist, I would venture a guess (and it is just my best guess) is that the ROTC and Academy programs will have something in place to get things done once DoDMERB is back up. They may be working behind the scenes to fill out the upcoming classes (they have all the needed info, just not medical clearance) so that as soon as medical is done, appointments are ready to go out. Remember folks, medical truly does not need to be done until May or next year for things wo work.

I understand it is hard waiting, but staying in contact with your AO or ROTC PMS should keep you in the know so to speak.

I can't imagine what Mr Mullen and that entire team is going through right now. I work for a large financial firm that has a 0% downtime service level for our website. The heat must be red hot right now for the technology folks. Fingers crossed that it gets up and running soon.

Wonder if they got hacked and asked for a ransom to free the site? This recently happened to KRONOS, a world wide time keeping business. They ended up paying the ransom I heard?.?.?
