I just received notice of getting a "check on entry" conditional waiver for USAFA, but my status on the DoDMERB site is still "under DoDMERB review". Does this mean they are still reviewing my exam? I thought that once I got my waiver I would be considered qualified and be done with DoDMERB. This is under the assumption they send all disqualifications at once after reviewing the whole exam, which I assume is the case, but I could be wrong. Anyone have any knowledge on this topic? Thanks!

This would typically mean that your status is conditional. You will be checked (medically) upon arrival at USAFA to see if your waiver will remain in place. If not, you might be deferred for a year. Or, you might need to go to plan B. If you check out as records suggest you should/will, the conditional waiver will be a full waiver. Good luck and sorry that you will have some level of uncertainty heading into I Day. This is a situation that warrants follow-up with admissions so that you fully understand what to expect.

Ok, thanks. Do you know what my status should look like on DoDMERB now? Will it change to medically qualified instead of still being "Under DoDMERB review? Or will it stay like that until I-Day. Additionally, do you know if they send all disqualifications at once, and it is possible for me to receive another disqualification? Thank you and sorry for all the questions. Just trying to see where I stand medically.
