I have been checking my status for the past week or two and today they updated my status. It said "remedial requested." What does this mean exactly. Thank you all in advance for all of your help and thanks for all the help everyone puts on here every day. You all are the best!

It means they are sending you a letter requesting additional information. You have been neither qualified nor disqualified. DoDMERB just needs details from you or your doctor regarding a medical issue. When the letter arrives, you can better ask questions regarding next steps.
