dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil update frequency

I have been watching the dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil website, watching for the status to change in order to get the good news (positive thinking!) on my daughter's waiver request.

My question is: Does this website get updated on 'realtime' basis, or does it get updated in 'batch'? In other words, will it be updated when the status change is posted or during the night after the nightly processing?

Both. Some changes occur on a 10 minute time delay and some actions are bacth processed nightly. U can certainly email me regarding your specific question:thumb:

Larry, Ya, I've pinged you a couple of times and received a reply from Rick saying that the waiver is "on the doc's desk".

We are very anxious because it has been > 3 months since the DQ and she starts school in 2 weeks and her scholarship is riding on this waiver.

It would be nice to actually know whether she's going to be able to go to school or not.
 
Same here. I've been waiting for a decision since late of May. I guess we will just have to wait it out.
 
Just to remind folks, the waiver decision are NOT under DoDNERB's purview. Sorry:( All I can do is facilitate. Often times, the reason for the delay is the fact the Docs use consultants, somewhere else in the world who have very inetnse practices. It may take them time to respond. Also, the waiver Docs have other duties and travel to contend with. However, that said, they ALL are extremely dedicated in conducting a thorough review of each and every case:thumb:
 
We received our waiver yesterday. 4 months to the day w/ a week to spare before school starts. Whew!

Larry, thanks for your help. It was nice to know that someone was listening if we needed help.
