DoDMERB Waiver Help

Hello everyone,

I'm going into my sophomore year of college and earned an NRTOC scholarship this past spring. On the medical survey, I was honest and admitted to seeing a counselor throughout all four years of high school (I was never diagnosed with a mental illness nor prescribed meds for any mental health issues- I was just a teen who needed somebody to talk to). DoDMERB requested my medical records and some additional information. I was initially not worried at all. But in my primary care records, it says I admitted to self-harming one time when I was 14. I never actually self-harmed; I told my doctor this so I would be taken seriously and so get the help I needed since I did not know how to discuss how I felt at the time. When I sent in all the requested documentation, I also sent a letter from myself explaining that was in my records because of a lie I told when I was 14. I'm very worried I will be denied a waiver and I will have to find another career.

I have good PT scores, am performing well in my classes, and am doing very well in ROTC as a whole. I also have no other medical issues that DQ'd me.

Should I be worried? Is there anything else I can do? Any help is very appreciated!
