DoDMERB website down?

Apparently DODMERB is also based at the USAFA, heard they had some really bad weather. However, weather should have no bearing on the Dept of Defense's systems. There has to be a reason.....

Same boat as you guys. Been trying to login since Friday morning and the webpage won't even load. Wonder why...

All,<br /><br />The portals are down because the Internet connectivity to USAFA servers is down. This has nothing to do with offers or potential offers.<br /><br />USAFA was closed on Friday for weather (spring blizzard). The systems went down and there will likely be no one there to fix the issue until Monday morning.<br /><br />- Insider

I tried several times and could not either. Finally called out there and talked directly to a medical technician who said supposedly was being worked on. No timetable given, but she did say that some of the doctors work remotely and have not been able to work on things as well in this time so of course that puts them behind!

I spoke with DoDMERB yesterday. They had a storm on Friday which knocked out the electricity and their servers, and they're still down. They are still working and reviewing files though. I didn't get a time estimate from them for when it would be back up. I forgot to ask that.

Thanks for the information about the website being down. DD has been keeping me informed of her application process but I am not at all familiar with wait times etc. DD is waiting for a medical waiver so she can accept her conditional appointment to the Naval Academy which she received about a month ago. She is a recruited athlete and another D1 coach has been patiently waiting to hear from her. Does anyone have experience with how long another D1 coach will keep a scholarship offer open?

Does anyone know when DoDMERB is supposed to be back up? Or, when they should be caught up with decisions?
