This is a good time to go to the DoDMERB home page and read through all the topics on the left-side menu, including Contacts. You do not need a log-in to do this. FAQs, notes on the pricess, workflow diagrams, etc.
And, at that point in the application where the SA is ready to initiate the DoDMERB medical review process, you should receive an email directing you to the DoDMETS site to do your initial log in per the landing page instructions. DoDMERB is the DoD agency which evaluates candidates for medical accession to the military for its internal “clients,” such as the SAs and ROTC programs. It makes the physically qualified/not physically qualifed decision and serves as the info clearinghouse for any required back and forth between the candidate and the waiver authority for a specific commissioning program. DoDMETS is the civilian contractor which coordinates with candidates and providers for exams and submission of results.
Your DoDMETS login will be different than your DoDMERB login - two different entities.
And yes, all the SAs and ROTC programs will have access to your results in DoDMERB, regardless of which commissioning program initiated. You have no additional actions to take there.
Check your spam folder regularly.
Be absolutely sure you have used your correct SSN in your initial application. All it takes is a critical data point to be one digit off, and you may not be able to log in.
In the past few years, both USNA and USAFA transitioned to new candidate application management systems, which generated a lot of bumps in the road. Candidates were not receiving the “get started email,” but found they could try logging in at the DoDMETS site, and if DoDMERB had been sent the request by the commissioning program, and if DoDMERB had downloaded the candidate info to DoDMETS, then the door could be opened and the process started. If your info is not at DoDMETS, you cannot log in.
It is way early in the process. As aptly pointed out by
@Academician , you have to get through enough of your application. These exams cost government money for the providers and other cost points in the process, so quite prudently, the DoDMERB process is started when there is a reasonable certainty the candidate will complete their application and is considered minimally competitive.
