Have any USNA applicants gotten their medical invitation yet? I was reading that some some USMA applicants have.

It all depends how much/what parts of your application is done. The SAs vary on when they initiate the DoDMERB request. The exams cost the govt money; they want to minimize wasted exam fees from contract providers by waiting to see if the candidate seems motivated and likely to complete their application, as well as be minimally competitive.

I enjoyed this heretofore unknown use of the Medicaid program. We have been needing a good typo.
Indeed. To clarify have any gone out for Navy applicants? I know they’ve gone out to West Point apps. DS isn’t applying to USMA—only USNA and USAFA. He isn’t on this forum as he’s determined not to let the process overwhelm/consume him. But I know the only thing he has left to do is his essay (he’s proofing it). He has an iCloud address and his BGO said there were often problem with them so he’s concerned he’s missed it.

On another note—is it possible to change your email to avoid this problem?

I think I got mine done after I completed my teacher recommendations( English and math), did my BGO interview, and passed my CFA. However, it still varies per person ( my friend and I got almost everything completed around the same time, but DoDMERB got to me first).

You're saying that he has sent them out or that USNA has received them? For instance, there is a big difference and often time lag between the candidate sending in the email addresses of his teachers and USNA actually receiving the completed recommendations from the teachers. At a point in the past, the medical would not be kicked off until over half of the required "stuff" was done and by done, I mean that the required recommendation, transcript, CFA result, etc were in USNA Admissions hands. Where does he stand on his BGO interview and CFA?

CFA is done. All teachers say they’ve done recs (including transcript and ec verified) but it’s not showing on his portal. His BGO has been in touch but hasn’t requested an interview.

If he calls his regional advisor, which is located on the first page of his portal in a drop down, that advisor can tell him what the Academy has received. My DS shows nothing received but when at Admissions two weeks ago they had some of the recs but for some reason were not posting in my DS portal. So just make the phone call and you'll know more accurate info of what Admissions has.
