My DS has a 4 year AROTC scholarship. He is entering the university with 70 dual credit STEM heavy hours. If he can fit in a minor or a double major in the same 4 years, will the scholarship still pay for that?

I double majored with NROTC

Pretty sure ROTC pays by the semester, so if you can fit stuff in 8 semesters, you can do it. I’ve heard of people also fitting an MA on top of their BA in 8 semesters

Yep! My DS is a 4-yr AROTC as well…. Double major and a minor. Graduates in May!

For anyone looking at this researching for NROTC... it's the same case. If it's apart of a "normal" workload, NROTC will pay for it. For Example: my college required 8 GEN ED credits... my minor was 4 out of my 6 gen ed credits, so I only needed two additional courses that were apart of my normal courseload.

Can you start on your MBA as well? DS needs 9 credits to graduate in the fall. He wants to take one graduate class fall 2024 and then all graduate classes and MS4 class in the spring.

Someone suggested this and we are going to look into it. Apparently the masters classes are the same price if taken during the first four years at the University DS is going to attend. He might be able to take all masters classes his senior year.
