I don't know if it will alleviate (or perhaps add to) your anxiety, but I wanted to let everyone know that we concluded all Early Action (EA) reviews yesterday and the majority of our recommendations have now been approved by the Superintendent. We anticipate all EA decision letters being posted this evening, but some may not be available until Monday if the record is still under review. The Admissions Officers and the rest of our staff will be taking some well-earned time off over the next two weeks, so we hope that you're able to do the same. Happy Holidays from New London and congratulations to the 189 direct appointees and 40 CGAS appointees...we're excited to have you join our service this summer!

Thank you @Objee for the EA update! Congratulations to the 189 direct appointees and 40 CGAS appointees! For clarification, does this mean that decision letters will be posted to the Bear's Den accounts and to not anticipate a phone call? Can you share how many total EA applications were received?

@Objee do you have any idea of the timeline for the waiver process for those that were one of the 189 appointees?

Congrats Sanman! Been rooting for you. Great great opportunity for your DS. Have a great Holiday! Awesome!
Many thanks cave9269, it is a relief! I actually think its the best outcome for him, he isn't 18 until April and I think this will be a great experience for him.

It really is a WIN-WIN situation. There is Zero negatives to Scholars if that is your lot..... and more than a few benefits. I know it is early- but which local? Any idea?

Don’t know yet but NAPS would make the most sense baring in mind DS is a footballer and we live in Southern PA. MMI don’t have a football program and Georgia Military College is over twice the distance for us.

Nothing. And of course we got my DS new SAT score today...emailed it to the listed AOs ASAP and got mostly auto replies that they are on break until the new year or the 30th. And it was sooooo much better this go around with his score. 😢 I have to say, he is an amazing young man with great friends. They all came over tonight to hang with him he is upbeat and moving forward. So proud! He is disappointed, but positive! Best of luck to you all!
