How likely is it to get a waiver for eczema, if it was controlled with a very low potency cream and it was mild ?

Nobody here will be able to tell you. USAFA has its own medical waiver board that reviews each request once it is sent to them from admissions. I have seen candidates on this board get eczema waived and others who have had waivers denied.

The best thing is to complete your application as quickly as possible to get your DoDMERB/Waiver process started.

Not sure if you are aware but besides the usual issues with eczema and your skin in extreme conditions there is another issue which is the smallpox vaccine is contraindicated for those with eczema.

USAFA no longer has authority for their medical waivers. Those decisions are rendered by the Air Force Recruiting Service, starting with the Class of 2025.

Google "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the process;" IF you meet the criteria in paragraphs 11-12....then 15-21 will apply
