Elbow dislocation

My DD dislocated her right elbow and fractured the tip of that elbow in 2013 when she was 8 (the dislocation and fracture happened at the same time). She had a pin put in to stabilize the tip of her elbow and it was removed 6 months later. I saw that major joint dislocations are an automatic disqualifier and wondered at her waiver chances considering how old the injury is. DD is a competitive gymnast and has competed since 2013; she has been able to fully straighten that elbow for the last 7 years but has slightly less range of motion compared to the other elbow. She is interested in USAFA Class of 2027 and will also be applying for an Air Force ROTC scholarship. She is interested in a STEM field (something math or physical science related).
