Email for the DoDMERB exam

Hey everyone! Today afternoon I got an email saying I authorized a medical exam and I am slightly confused. I haven't submitted anything from any of the service academies I am applying to besides the "pre-candidate" application for USAFA, USNA, and USMA. I thought that you needed to finish some specific portions of the applications to even get contacted to schedule an appointment. Even in the portals of each academy I only saved most of my work and haven't fully submitted it so I can make changes if needed. This may sound stupid... but was I supposed to get this email this quickly? And I also did the medical history survey already so should I schedule the exam as early as possible even if I am not too far into the applications for the service academies I am applying to? Why wouldn’t you jump on the opportunity to go? Who knows why, but you have been authorized to make you appointment. I would jump on that, early and during the summer!

Yes, you should ‘go ahead and schedule your exam’. Follow your instructions, and as you probably know, one exam works for all the SA applications.
