Today I received an email from my admissions officer that started with

“Dear Candidate,
You are invited to join the West Point Directorate of Admissions for an informational event hosted exclusively for candidates offered admission to the West Point class of 2025...”

I am very confused because I haven’t been offered an appointment. I have a nomination from my MOC and last week I received a 3Q letter and was placed on the NWL. Should I respond and tell him that I haven’t been made aware of an offer of appointment yet, or should I ignore the email and wait?

Hope it’s the ladder. Good luck.
My field force rep told me they get notified by Admissions on Tuesday/Wednesday of decisions being made on your file and then that that is reflected in your portal on Friday so it could be your admissions officer knowing ahead of time what will be reflected this Friday.

The blue ladders are the latter, whereas the black ladder is only the latter if the latter of all four is not the silver ladder which clearly has Schrödinger's cat sitting atop it, where I will add you are not supposed to sit or step for all ladders, whether the latter or not.

Offers are updated Tuesday but don't show in your portal until Friday to give members of Congress the opportunity to be the first to contact you. Your RC likely forgot that and added you to the list, so congratulations and act surprised when you get the call.
