DS is currently a last semester MSIV. He went to Advanced Camp last summer and unfortunately suffered an injury and couldn't complete camp. As a result, he will go back to camp this summer and be an end of camp commissioning. I have been trying to understand how it will work but he's been light on the details explaining that he has a meeting with his PMS when he returns to school. I am hoping this forum can give me a baseline understanding of what is likely to happen.
For context, DS is a 3.1 gpa student and Company Commander. He has been told by his Cadre that they recommended active duty, that he's active duty qualified and he's above the active duty cut line. His first 3 branch choices are, Armor (with BRADSO) Infantry (with BRADSO) and FA. My questions are these:

- How are AD slots allocated for end of camp commissioning (I understand that there are 120 end of camp commissioning this summer?
- Do folks commissioning at the end of camp have the same odds of getting their choices as if they had completed camp last summer?
- Does commissioning actually happen right after Advanced Camp graduation?
