Before anyone reads the following and says its impossible to say your chance for being accepted I want to make sure everyone knows I'm not asking to here my % Chances for being admitted; I just want to know where I can touch things up going into my Senior year. I anticipated some things on here because I am already schedule for them.

- Weighted GPA= 4.4

- 1520 SAT (M=770 and E=750)
- 33 ACT (M=33, E=33, R=33, S=33)
- NHS Member

Athletics:
- Varsity Football Starter 2 years
- Varsity Track 2 years

Leadership/Extracurriculars
- Boy Scouts:
1. Eagle Scout
2. Patrol Leader
3. Den Chief
4. Order of the Arrow member
- Football Leadership Team
- Over 120 Hours of Community Service (I won't list it all out)

You look like a very impressive applicant to me. I would say that you should keep trying the ACT/SAT (even though your scores are great) until you can't anymore. Other than that, just make sure you have strong teacher recommendations, work on nominations, and keep the grades up.

You look like a great candidate! Keep up your grades and start working on interviewing skills. They are incredibly important.

Strong credentials so far. Try to get more leadership positions in student government or clubs as well as in your sports teams. Also try pursuing more community service projects.

Wow congratulations you have rock star stats and you've already accomplished the difficult items: Great SAT/GPA, Varsity Sports, Eagle Scout...Just finish strong academically your senior year, try and get a team captain spot, maybe get a part time job, work on interview skills, stay out of trouble (no drinking at parties etc.), and work on your CFA all year (pushups, pull-ups, sit ups, shuttle run, 1 mile) ---Good luck and congrats!

I believe upcoming Boys State and many summer opportunities have been cancelled.

Have you made creative or contributing or educational use of any extra time while being at home during COVUD restrictions?

Work on that stuff right now. Its the perfect time. I am going to be a re-applicant this year and I have improved my CFA measurably by just doing a ton of pushups and situps at home and running once a day.

you look great brother.
Work on maxing out your CFA scores. Basketball throw should be practiced.
Have teachers or family members give you mock interviews.
Also perfect those essays. Write the essays early and run them though your english teachers as well as service members if you know any.

I've had plenty of schoolwork to keep me busy but I'm also practicing the CFA and football a lot.

Boys State!!! It adds a good amount to your WCS and it gives you an amazing topic to bring up in essays and interviews!
Forgot to include that but I was accepted to NC Boys State along with SLE and NASS which are all three cancelled now.

^^^^^As stated above.
You can polish the great stats you already have as mentioned. You also need to do extremely well in the unseen areas. Practice interviews and put together awesome essays that are proofed by your English teacher.
Be sure that your teachers who will be writing letters of recommendation on your behalf know you well and understand your desire to gain an appointment. Keep them updated on your progress, and make them aware of critical timelines for submitting their letters. Same especially goes for your guidance counselor. The GC is an important person to be submitting things on your behalf. You want these people to be in your corner feeling like they want this for you instead of feeling burdened by your requests. This process is foreign to many educators and GC’s as was in DS case. His GC,Principal and teachers hardly knew anything about West Point other than by name let alone the process of gaining admission. You may need to “teach” them about what an SA is and why all of this is necessary. Be proactive in the process and help bring those people with you to the finish line cheering you on.
