Excited for the Future

Just this evening I decided to finally join this forum after reading it for around six months. I am only a rising sophomore but I am eager to start my journey.

Throughout my whole life I have always admired anyone that served in the military. My grandfather served in the Army (I sadly never met him as he died years before I was born) with his brothers and my grandmother served in the Navy as a nurse. I am not completely sure what I would like to do with my life but the one thing that I do know is that I want to help people.

I had a tough year with my family because my parents went through a divorce so I am trying my best but, here is a quick overview of me as a student: I am already involved in sports (Lacrosse and Track), I manage theater at my school, I volunteer, I am in the Junior Classical League, and I have attempted to keep my grades up (3.5). I plan on doing whatever I can to be the best while not giving up the activities that I enjoy the most so that I remain passionate and succeed. No matter what I am not going to give up.
I cannot wait to see what my future holds.

That sounds like a great plan, to continue to do your best and have a great time doing it!

Take challenging classes and work hard. Take the SAT or ACT as many times as you can. Good luck, you sound like a winner!
