Hello all, I was reading recent threads about the academic qualification, and I've been wondering: do extracurricular activities help out with the qualification?
I have a pretty low GPA, around maybe 3.0 (but bound to get higher in senior year).
HOWEVER, I DO have:
President of Breakdance Club
Vex Robotics 2010 National Champion
Vex Robotics 2010 World 8th Place
Church participation / youth ministry student-leader
Church orchestra (community service)
Elementary school mentor (community service)
I know I'm not doing well academically, I was naive and was overconfident in getting a nomination (my district only had 1 request last year). I recently took my SAT's, and I'm pretty confident I scored over at least 1900. Advice is also appreciated
