Eye Doctor not picking up

I recently opened DODMETS and went to scheduling my appointments. I was surprised to find that my usual eye doctor ( who I havent been to in a couple years) turned out to be the one assigned to me! He owns a small optometry and doesnt work in a big hospital or whatever. However, over the past few days we have called multiple times throughout the day and have gone straight to voicemail. We suspect they are closed but are not sure. The website says not to change provider unless they are more than 50 miles than you. I will keep trying throughout this week. However, what would I do if they just happen to not pick up or are closed in the time being? They were always very responsive and all the reviews say so as well so being unresponsive isnt the norm for them.
