Hello everyone, I did my eye exam today and it went well for the most part. I have 20/20 vision overall and don't have any major eyesight issues. The only issue that came up was that I am apparently a little "nearsighted"; the sphere value is -0.5 on each of my eyes. They told me this is not significant at all but I am still worrying a bit. Do you think it is disqualifying?

For context, I have never worn glasses, or contacts, or had any eye issues whatsoever.

No it’s not my eyes are -1.5 and I was fine, as long as it’s correctable your good.

A correction 0f -0.50 is about as minimally myopic as one can be. Is there an astigmatic component to the refraction? -3.00 being disqualifying refers to the astigmatic component, not the spherical component nor the spherical equivalent. If you don't understand what I have written you should not be giving opinions on this subject.
