I have 20/70 in one eye and >20/400 in the other. I also have an astigmatism that exceeds the limit on the DoDMERB website. I have no other health issues that I am aware of.

My question is: how hard will it be to get a waiver?

It's NOT a question of hard or easy. Provided you are competitive for an offer of appointment.....waiver consdieration will begin automatically. YOUR case, will be reviewed indepeendently by the USCGA and HQs USCG. They will render a decision based on YOU....NOT in comparison to anyone else. They will notify you via letter of their decision:thumb:
