I'm not sure of what would be PQ for eyesight...
If you go in and you're not PQ, I hear that depending on certain aspects they will preform surgery. Would that make you PQ? Or if you're eyes are correctable to 20/20 in general would it make you PQ?
Or is it totally out of the question?
 
IIRC...
20/20 near vision (aka reading distances)
20/70 distant (correctable to 20/20)

Now, that assumes a few more technical things I don't understand. If you are outside of that, but can correct to 20/20 with glasses, you may get a waiver or be eligible for PRK, if the AF decides that is a good option. I was between PQ and PRK standards, so I was able to get a waiver.
(AF flight glasses are stylish :yllol:)
