DS hasn't received any official candidate info yet, but did get an invite to meet with the Region 4 admissions counselor. Are we waiting for a letter with info or missing a piece to the puzzle?

How long ago did your son fill out the preliminary application? It does take some time for those to be reviewed.

Put in for NASS in February. SAT scores delivered 6/6 (May test)

I suggest your son recheck his email and spam folder to check to see if his email with link to portal is there. I've had to tell my candidates to check there and lo and behold..... You might think a BGO would have got ahold of him but not always the case.

Thanks for the tip! Will ask him to double check tonight. The BGO hadn't returned emails or voicemails until DS copied the regional BGO, so it's been an adventure!

Update: met with the FAC for our region tonight. Turns out DS's SAT scores didn't reach the portal to open his jacket. Got his candidate ID and packet as well as a meeting with our local NROTC XO.

Oh dear. We didn't send them yet. Did I overlook that request on the app? I was thinking we would send them after being told we qualified to be an official candidate….
