Posting an easy question bc I can't find it easily myself. DS has been hoping to visit WP before submitting his application, but that is obviously not going to happen. He's finishing it up now and has most of it complete even though its later in the process. He has already completed the process with USNA (been there multiple times) and awaiting a decision.

Does the FFR reach out to him when his application is to a certain point or should he reach out to the FFR? He was in contact in March 2020 and was going to attend an event for applicant hopefuls before things changed (to put it mildly). Thanks for any help you can provide.

I understand FFR are volunteers. My DS and other candidates took the CFA administered by the FFR. FFR provided valuable advice about the application process.

My FFR reached out to me for the interview. I would have your DS email his RC and ask about it.

I believe my DS contacted his FFR very early on as soon as his name was listed in his portal. I don't think it matters if candidate contacts FFR or FFR contacts candidate, just have DS contact him. Helping candidates with their questions is the FFR's job. Good luck to your DS!
