File closed by admissions?

I have just opened my USMA portal to find a message that reads

"Your file has recently been closed by Admissions for this year.
You should have already received correspondence about this closure, or you will very soon."

All my portal showed I had left was my DODMERB, which qualified 2 weeks ago, and my nomination, which I received word that I have gotten a week ago. I also had an LOE on file.

I have already reached out to admissions, but has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know why this happened?
 
Are you saying that you were qualified by DoDMERB and had received a nomination? Had you received a 2Q or 3Q letter from admissions yet? Once your CFA is checked green and your file is complete it all goes to the admissions committee for review. At that time they usually make a decision about physical and academic qualification and issue a letter to the candidate. That letter usually shows up in the “official correspondence“ section. I think the only one that can answer the question about your file is admissions. Maybe someone else on SAF will respond with previous experience.

I recieved a 2Q letter a while back, and my CFA was checked green back in early November. I am DODMERB qualified and recieved a nomination, but they hadn’t been reflected in my portal last time I checked.
 
Good Morning, Yes, sometimes they will close a file that is not likely to lead to an appointment; however, sometimes they are mistaken.
If you sent an email, also try sending a phone call to the admissions officer at USMA (rather than your Field Force Rep or anyone else).
Having a nomination does not guarantee admissions, even if you are the principle nominee, you have to qualify in the other areas.

This happened to me this morning as well. Not sure what’s up. My portal said the exact same thing. Hopefully because there are multiple cases this is just a glitch in the system

What region are you in?
 
Just to follow up, I had this same problem and my admissions officer got back to me saying it was closed because they haven’t received my nomination yet. So if you have any sort of document (medical) that keeps you from being 3Qed I’m guessing that’s the same deal, once dodmerb kicks in I’m guessing you will be fine.

I got the same thing as well!

That’s what DrMom means. If you use the search function, you’ll see they haven’t been seen on the forum since January ‘23. Odds are they are long gone. So not on or updating.

Or click on their screen name and get taken to their profile, look at Content of other tell-tale stats.
 
He did get into USMA but we don’t know how it is going.
