Final Round of Letters

When do you guys think the final round of Letters will come out?
 
Any thoughts as to whether that's the only round left or will there be another round between now and 12/20? Anyone?
 
My understanding is that the Admissions Review board is meeting today (Monday.) I don't know how many more days they are meeting or what their release schedule is, however.

I submitted my application October 5th and had DoDMERB completed and sent Novemeber 11th. I suggest keeping in contact with your AO by updating them on grades, test scores, PFE scores, or anything that might help your application stand out.
 
I started a thread on the prep school school page for CGAS program nominees.

Did you accept your appointment? You're still the only other preppie I've heard about so far besides my DS.
 
I haven't accepted yet since my Bear's Den isn't updated. I will be accepting once I'm able to.

DS received a letter on the application page stating, "decision available", the letter then gave further instructions on who to email to accept or decline.
 
We are still in the waiting mode. This forum has been very informative. My DS received an LOA in late August, yes he is a recruited athlete. App was completed in early Oct. Completed his DoDMERD about a month ago. I was fine until I found this forum then I started to worry. My DS has turned down several other schools at this point and is waiting for his acceptance letter. He spoke with his Coach last week and his AO yesterday. Everything is in order and said he should receive it before 12/24. So hang in there everybody. But from a parents point the waiting is nerve wracking. Keep the info going as it comes.

Dont worry - my son was in the same boat - recruited athlets ... got LoA in August ... app was in by 9/4 ... everything else complete right before 10/15 ... but was in the second round round of letters - this forum is great ... your coach should have a pretty good idea as to whats going on - good luck!
 
This forum has been a great help and just wanted to give a quick update since any bit of news is always encouraging. My son got a call early this week with an offer for CGAS. Didn't expect this option but we are trying to learn more about this oppurtunity.

It's the USCGA prep program. If he's wanting to attend USCGA it's a great opportunity!

DS did this. He is now a Firstie. I'll be glad to answer any questions I can, either here or PM. Do a search, as there are other threads about CGAS on this forum. Also check out the Service Academy Preparatory Schools forum (up a level and over). It includes info for all prep schools.
 
For those who received a notification from the CGA, did they send an email first directing you to your Bears' Den or did you check your Bears' Den without an email?

I received a phone call from my AO. My Bears' Den account has not been updated.
