Finally Got the E-mail

Dear HM...I am so sorry. Next year? Also, I hope that there is a wonderful plan--because really, there are no bad outcomes, only great choices. Just all might be doing this again next year. For those who are called to serve there is always a way.
HMC I'm hoping your plan B is a good one. The fact that you applied and went through this process shows determination and grit. If this is still your dream, try again next year. There is one outstanding Plebe with our DD who tried 3x and finally got in!
Ditto, good luck to all who are still CPR. Anyone know the best way to determine what parts of your apps need strengthening before you reapply? Also, if DQ'ed and were waiting on a waiver that never came, is there a way to determine if that was the reason? If not accepted due to the DQ, then no reason to reapply, so it would be nice to know.

I am so sorry. I know we have all been on this journey together and it breaks my heart to hear about you. I know that great things will open up for you all.
Sending hugs to all who have gotten a TWE email this morning. You young men and women are still the best of the best and you have worked so hard to get this far. Whether you reapply or go on to other aspirations, you should be really proud of yourselves. We are proud of you!
...and it's officially over for me. Thank you everyone on this forum for your great advice, stories, and company. It has been a great ride, one I won't forget anytime soon.

Us too. Got the email this am at 7:15. She is heartbroken but plan B is already in the works. She may try again next year she said but right now we are working on setting up a dorm room. Good luck to everyone else who is still waiting.
So sorry :( DD was in your shoes a week ago and trust me she took a few days to hurt and then she picked herself up and got excited about the rest of her opportunities! At 17 & 18 years old this seems like the end of the world, but you have next year and the year after if this is truly what you want. Hugs all.
Now I am so nervous, there's a big wave of TWEs and I won't be home until late tonight, DS was CPR last night. Good luck to all those still in the CPR boat. Hugs and tears for all those who are on to plan B.
