I recently visited the academy and was blessed to be put in contact with a 2/C Mid by my ROTC instructor.

He was very generous in talking to my family and me for an hour or two during an open period he had and then showing us around the campus. This was really priceless first-hand information and I was extremely grateful.

I got him a gift card at a restaurant downtown and would like to ship it to him ASAP, but I don't know his PO box number.

I thought it would be nice as a surprise, so is there any way I could find his PO box number without physically asking him for it?

Thanks

Both kind and professional of you to do this. My suggestion is to send it addressed to the mid and leave off the mailbox number - let the USPS branch to sort it out.... but there is a risk to that - they may return it.

I found this page - and there is a phone number at the bottom:

I would send it to the UPS address because it will reach a person there and I trust the universe to take it from there. The website does say incorrectly addressed items may be returned to sender.

OTHERS MAY HAVE DIFFERENT SUGGESTIONS like send to a known trusted Mid via address shared by PM and let sneaker mail take over from there to get it to the correct person.

His EMail address is based on his class year and alpha number, but his P.O. Box number is assigned (I think) randomly.
I don't think there is any way to find out without asking.

Sending it c/o that particular MIDN (without that box number) may get it there. If you know his Company number, it may help get it there if the overworked civilian in charge of sorting feels like helping it along the way.

Worst case scenario is that it gets returned to sender (you).

So, you could address it as:

MIDN Name Name
1 Wilson Road
# Company (if you know which Company)
Annapolis, MD 21412

Could you inquire of his email, either personal or school, and send an Amazon gift card that route?

Thanks all for the help, I think I will call the number and possibly reach out to another Mid I am in contact with and see if he isn't too busy to mind helping out.

You could drop it in an envelope and send it to the Chaplain's office with a note explaining. I'm sure they see that the MID received it.
