First application review board meeting?

I know they say they will have all decisions posted by 12/24 but from what I could tell, they had already made the first round of decisions this time last year.Has anyone heard anything through the grapevine or received an appointment?(excluding LOAs)

I was wondering the same thing. DD's application has been submitted since mid September but still does not have the Candidate Reviewed with a green check on her portal. She had her interview two weeks ago and that also is not green checked. Has anyone had the file reviewed and checked off in the portal yet?

Yes there was a small first round the first week in November last year. A bigger round came the week of thanksgiving then another one about 2 weeks later. All knew all EA decisions by 12/23

DS received email in early October that he was scheduled for EA review in 2 weeks. Nothing yet. No boxes checked. They might be running behind.

That’s normal with the Bear’s den updates. I remember the same stuff last year.

If you were told you’d receive your appointment I wouldn’t worry about the box being checked.

True. I wasn’t worried. Just stating they are behind on updating the portal. My application had its final review Oct.2 and it is still not updated. My understanding is they will update when appointments are official.

My DS's portal has had the "app complete-ready for review" checked off since early October. I guess this was around the same time he received the email saying his app was up for review (like several on this forum reported). Still have gotten nothing and the last "box" saying "board review complete" is not checked. My understanding is that is the box that will be checked off with the decision able to be viewed on the portal, right?

For those who have applied EA, would all have received notification from DodMets for medical exams?

My son received his Dodmets invitation about two weeks after submitting his application. People aren't reading the email from admissions clearly. The email says the application has been scheduled for review during the EA period, and the application packet will be sent to the review board within the next two weeks. It DOES NOT say that the application will be reviewed within the next two weeks. Big difference.
