First Semester grades

I received the email saying my app was going to the review board 4 Jan 2017 and was wondering if they will wait to see my first semester grades until they make a decision?
 
They will contact you if they need them. Has there been a update since 1/4
 
Has anyone who submitted RA heard anything back outside of the email stating your application was going to the Board?
 
there were a couple that posted they got appoints on 1/27 see the second post in the new thread

Thanks. Any guess as to when the elusive check mark appeared on the CCEBR box in Bear's Den? DS's is still empty and has been. He too got the email on 4 JAN 17. Just curious if news will be out soon on his status.

no clue ... only know from DS EA experience - but his was a bit different due to LoA
 
My DS's "new" coach kept him updated with phone calls and emails. He did tell him the Admission Review Board meets every Thursday. That helped us quite a bit because then we knew nothing would happen until a Thursday. Good news, LOA last Thursday (via coach) and official email from USNA Friday morning 8am.

Thanks, maybe we'll get some sleep tonight and Wednesday now knowing that if anything happens it will be Thursday :-)

my DD recieved a phone call this past Friday with an offer so you'll probably start sweating it in about 3 day! So nerve wracking!

It is. And to make it worse, it is times 3. Awaiting news from the USCGA, USAFA, and USNA.

You sound just like us up until 10 days ago. First DD got the USMA envelope on the 21st then 6 days later USCGA now waiting on ROTC. It all falls into place eventually. The difference was we didn't expect anything this soon because she told both academies she would improve her test scores as they recommended so we weren't even checking the portal!

Congrats. What's her first choice? DS got the AFROTC scholarship offer back in Dec, Type 7. So at least that's addressed.

DD's first choice is West Point. She did get an offer of appointment to WP but three days later she got a call from USCGA with an offer. We wanted her to really think about her choices before making a decision but I think she made it a while ago. So tomorrow she'll go with West Point.
Hear anything yet?
 
I guess no announcements will be coming out this week since the school is closed again today. So, I doubt the Board met yesterday (snow). We'll just continue to wait :)
