Former Navy Midshipman Gets 25 Years Confinement

I remember this dirtbag's name and photo. Twenty five years sounds about right.

He must have a real problem, since his final assault occurred while he was either being investigated or already charged with the first of them.

He was a Marine, came in via NAPS.

I forget how the legal system in the military functions. In this case, would the perpetrator also get a "Big Chicken Dinner" ?

The article did say he would be dismissed from the naval service, which, when it’s a punitive discharge awarded at a court martial, is either a Bad Conduct Discharge or Dishonorable Duscharge.

As bold as he was...can’t help but wonder about others via NAPS or enlisted. What a dirtbag. Serial offender.

Amazing women who told their stories and finally got him put away. That takes a strong person.

Where they came from makes no difference, prior enlisted via NAPS or straight from an expensive prep school with every advantage. There have been plenty of bad actors from every type of background.

There’s no test for character or moral center in the application process.

These folks take their powerful brains they used to get into an SA and turn them to criminal purposes, whether sexual assault, illegal drug sales, cheating scandals, car theft rings, theft of prescription painkillers in the Hall, book theft or murder.

Edit: I worded this strongly because I don’t want any new reader to get an inaccurate impression of prior enlisted midshipmen or cadets, the military prep school or anyone with enlisted service here in this forum. One fact is true. Nothing to wonder about. Dirtbags come from every background.

I could be wrong...but I took it to mean there could be other victims he violated during his time enlisted and at NAPS, not that we should be looking for other perpetrators who come to USNA from NAPS or enlisted.

My intent came through improperly here. What I meant, was how many others were VICTIMIZED via his time at naps and his time enlisted. NOT where he came from. I meant that he had his predatory process down pat, and I doubt he started at USNA. I hope that if there were other victims, via his time at NAPS and Navy, that they are helped.

Absolutely did not mean at ALL that HIS history had anything to do with who he is. What I meant is that he is seasoned predator....I wouldn’t be surprised if there are other victims anywhere he has been...article states naps and enlisted.

Apologize for not being clear, but I didn’t convey my thought properly if that’s how came off. A case of my mind knew what I was saying.....didn’t come through to my fingers. I was speaking to wondering if additional victims vianaps/enlisted. Oh my, it doesn’t matter where someone comes from, there ARE dirt bags everywhere.

Adding: Too late to edit my original post to be more clear.

That perfectly clears it up!
