Hi, my name is @BBMomma and I'm currently in service academy forum withdrawl... it's been a few months and I've only been tempted into coming on here a few times, but with my DS gone with class of 2027, this past week has been hard and drove me back here. Back to the amazing individuals that offered so much advice and assistance the past two years. You all are what helped us get through not just one, but two application cycles and we could not thank you anymore. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the moderators and ALO's on this forum. You all are part of why my boy made it where he is. Your advice, guidance and assistance, helped him navigate a difficult process and helped keep us both grounded. So thank you and for anyone/any parent of any child that is looking at going to a service academy, the wealth of knowledge that comes from this forum is more than your soon to be appointee will ever need to navigate the application process.

As a parent of a MIDN, I have found this forum to be as informative after I-Day than prior.

Glad you cane back. You have fellow travelers at every stage here.

Enjoy something I posted for ‘27 parents on their Rollercoaster thread in the USNA forum.

Post in thread 'Roller coaster I: Get You (The Parents) Through Plebe Year - Class of ‘27 🎢'

So glad you are here. I know when my '25 went off, I felt I would have nothing to add nor learn from this group anymore. Wrong-O. I was so happy to see other parents of Basics posting, asking, confessing, boasting and wondering and getting advice fro the "veterans." I know y'all have various FB groups, and man are those amazing too, but this is a special group that has been together through it all!

And now I will be lively once again as my '28 is beginning the application process. Oy-vay!
