Nice article. Great to see some positive publicity in the media. But as an Old Grad, I have to point out that we were allowed to throw as many power punches as we wanted.

Nothing about USMA makes it into the NYT without someone higher up wanting it there. A certain faction wanted to kill plebe boxing. Thankfully, they lost that fight.

My son learned a lot from plebe boxing and other combative training. I would not want to tangle with him, even at the same age.
