Yes.
From the 2026 handbook:
"Mandatory Vaccines:
COVID-19 vaccine: 2 doses of a 2-dose mRNA COVID-19 vaccine series (Pfizer or Moderna),"
Not sure why this is not clear.

Thanks. Guess I just got confused by the portal asking to populate 3 dates.

Perhaps they are assuming a booster is required to be considered "fully vaccinated."

My son is in the AF. At his base, I would say prior to Christmas of 2021 they weren't pushing the booster at all. Around Christmas they started pushing it but it was always voluntary

if they arent requiring active duty, there is no reason they would do the academies. Just my opinon

We are going with the above taken from the 2026 handbook. The portal was asking for three dates, but it appears the third is not mandatory

The appointee handbook is correct. The Appointee kit asks about a third dose to know if you have been boosted, but it is not required.
